Top Hair Trends to Try in 2021 at Coco Hair Salon in Eastbourne
Whilst we may not have the start to 2021 that we’d all been hoping for, the end is in sight! Many clients have told us that the Lockdown has been a great opportunity to get inspired for a fresh new look, and asking for advice on trends for when we reopen our Eastbourne hair salon!
All of the Coco Hair stylists are highly trained and up-to-date with the very latest hair trends and would be happy to advise you on an exciting, and flattering, new look when we reopen.
Below are some of our favourite ideas for inspiration for your post-lockdown locks…
Super Chic Pixie Cuts
Shorter hair can withstand less maintenance than longer locks, which meant that a lot of clients chose to embrace short hair following the first lockdown.
A pixie cut can be a versatile choice, if left longer on top you can create fauxhawk styles, curly looks or slick back for a cool evening style. Pixie haircuts with a fringe are a popular trend this year, giving a twist to the classic short crop.
Textured Bobs and Lobs
The short-hair mood for 2021 means that the classic blunt bob is due to be popular again this year.
An alternative to the classic sleek bob is our favourite new trend, the textured lob (long bob). It’s easy to style and can look as polished or fuss free as you like! Add a fringe to this style for a funky take on the trend.
Bright Balayage Hair Colours
It can be so difficult to choose and all over colour from the beautiful array of Sens.Us shades we have available, so why not go for a two-tone look such as a balayage? This fashionable look means you can go for a customised look to suit your needs – simply speak to your Coco stylist.
A popular trend this year will be face framing highlights, or a “Money Piece“. This involves us adding balayage hair colour around your face to brighten your complexion, the colour can compliment your existing colour or if you’re feeling bold, choose a bright fashion shade!
Natural Curls For 2021
If you’re blessed with naturally curly hair or afro locks, it’s time to embrace a minimalist fuss-free look in 2021, making the most of your hair’s natural texture.
To nourish your curly hair and create structure in your spirals, your Coco stylist can recommend products to use at home to tame frizz, moisturise and create perfect curls at home. Did you know you can shop our products online? We recommend Sens.Us Perfect Curl cream which can be found here.
